Dental Implants – Your Success – Our Guarantee

Success rates for implant placement are encouragingly high

Single dental implantDental implants are rapidly becoming the ‘go to’ procedure for people who have lost a tooth, or a number of teeth.

Ideally suited for either individual or multiple tooth loss as well as replacing a full arch of missing teeth, this procedure offers benefits that other methods simply can’t. The main reason for this is that alternatives such as dentures or bridges offer a replacement for the crown part of the tooth only, and not for the root of the tooth.

Replacing the tooth root as well as the crown is an important part of the treatment. Not only does this mean that the replacement tooth will be stronger and far more stable, but it also prevents the bone loss that can occur following the loss of a tooth.

Occasionally, some of our Canterbury patients express concern about the treatment as it requires a minor invasive procedure, but as more and more people have implants, and tell others about them, we anticipate that the demand will only grow.

Why choose us for dental implant placement?

Naturally, part of the decision for selecting a clinic is the locality. This isn’t the only reason for most people though and they will also look to find the best local dentist that they can. At Bradley and Partners Dental & Implant Clinic, we are one of the largest private dental implant clinics in the UK and we not only provide this service for our own patients, but also accept referrals from other practices throughout the county of Kent.

Our implant team is highly experienced and the use of our 3D scanning equipment means that you can be sure that your implants will be placed safely and accurately. Whilst we offer competitive prices and pledge to beat any like for like quote, there is no getting away from the fact that this is not the cheapest tooth replacement method available, but it is one that offers superior replacement teeth and is therefore an excellent long term investment.

Especially in these financially uncertain times, we understand that people are being more careful with their money. We believe though, that our three pledges mean that your investment is secure.

Success rate

Dental implant placement success rates are generally very high providing that the patient takes good care of them and follows the instructions given after the implants have been placed. We believe though that our 98% success rate certainly takes some beating, but with all medical procedures, there is always a small chance that it won’t be as successful as it could be. This may be for a number of reasons and some patients are perhaps less ideally suitable for this procedure than others. Before we carry out any treatment like this, we provide a thorough oral health examination and treat any issues that might put your implant at risk, such as periodontitis. We will also advise you of any personal risk factors that might affect the chances of success and in some cases may suggest that you also consider alternatives.

Cumulative success rate

What do we mean by ‘cumulative success rates’? Well, although success rates are very high, implants can still fail. This can be for a number of reasons and not every dentist may have the same experience as those at our Canterbury clinic. We often accept patients who have had implants placed elsewhere but have since had problems with them. We are pleased to let you know that the success rate for these is around 99%.

Our refund and guarantee policy

The 98% and 99% are very high figures but there is one area where we can go even better and offer 100% and that is in our refund policy. Quite simply, we offer you a 100% refund where the treatment is unsuccessful (terms and conditions apply) and we also promise to look after your new implants free of charge as long as you do your part too and take care of them well at home and follow the instructions that you will be given. You will also need to see our dental hygienist regularly as periodontitis and peri-implantitis are two of the greatest  threats to implants. With good aftercare though, these can usually be avoided with relative ease.

As you can see, we strongly believe in this procedure and its benefits for our patients. We hope that our success rates and guarantees help you to feel confident about having this excellent tooth replacement procedure. We do understand that you may have questions or concerns about the treatment however and we provide the opportunity to discuss these at your initial consultation. This is an important step, not only for this purpose, but to determine if you are a suitable candidate for the procedure.

If you are considering having a tooth implant placed with us and would like to discuss this with one of our team, please call Bradley and Partners Dental & Implant Clinic on 01227 463529 to make an appointment.
